Come and experience the gentleness and therapeutic traits of the horse. Studies have proven that just being around animals such as horses, dogs and cats can give comfort to many people with challenges in their life.
Riding a horse can help on improve balance, coordination and other physical skills. This type of therapy has been found to help those with Down Syndrome, Autism, Multiple Sclerosis and emotional problems. Just being “outside the clinical setting” helps individuals lower stress and anxiety and helps to build self-esteem and confidence.
The horses used at the events are horses from local horse enthusiasts who offer their time, knowledge, and love for their animals to anyone who attends.
We will be able to accommodate those who cannot sit upright in the saddle; there will also be teams of horses and wagons available.
We want every individual to enjoy being in contact with these loving animals and experience the gentleness and affection they have.
Stay up to date on upcoming activities.
